This starter replaces the Lucas number 25677 starter, used in sixties Aston Martins, DB4 5,6.
This is our 1.9 Horsepower Aston Martin Starter. This is a Brand New Starter with a lifetime warranty to the original owner. We offer this starter for the DB4, DB5, and DB6 Astons which use the above pictured 3 bolt mounting pattern. We also have a similar new starter for the Later aston Martin V8s. Please specify when ordering the specific vehicle and we'll supply to correct 1.9 HP starter. This starter works in both positive and negative ground vehicles. This is a great starter at a fantastic price. Stronger and lighter than the original starter with no permanent modification needed to you vehicle. Bolt it on and go! Electrical Hook-up:
This starter has one large bolted terminal for the positive battery cable from your vehicle. There is also a second small solenoid terminal (1/4" male spade connector) which connects to the wire from your vehicle's ignition switch. You have the option to bypass this starter's solenoid for simplicity and to retain the use of your car's original external solenoid. Click here for details.
