This starter replaces the Lucas number 26383 starter, used in many Rolls and Bentley cars, starting with the Silver Shadow series in the late 1960's through 1987.
This is our 1.9 Horsepower Rolls Royce and Bentley Starter. This is a Brand New Starter with a lifetime warranty to the original owner. This is a great starter at a fantastic price. Compared to a $600-plus rebuilt orginal, it is stronger and lighter. This starter cranks much faster and requires less cranking Amps. No permanent modification is needed to your vehicle. Electrical Hook-up:
This starter has one large bolted terminal for the positive battery cable from your vehicle. There is also a second small solenoid terminal (1/4" male spade connector) which connects to the wire from your vehicle's ignition switch. You have the option to bypass this starter's solenoid for simplicity and to retain the use of your car's original external solenoid. Click here for details.
